Meet The Artist
Hello, It’s me Sarah! I’m so happy that you’re here. For those that don’t know me, I’m from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. While I’m not dyeing discs, I’m spending time with my family: my husband Dave, and our two kids William (7) and Lauren (5).
Our Story
Combining The Love Of Art And Disc Golf
Two things that have always been consistent in my life; Art, and my love for the outdoors. It’s pretty special for these worlds to be colliding. During the early 2010s I was fortunate enough to have played in a few OD Tour events alongside some legends of Ontario Disc Golf; this was when we knew that Disc Golf would always have a place in our lives.
My husband Dave was involved with establishing the first and only Disc Golf course in our hometown of Barrie, Ontario: “Sandy Hollow”. This once quiet piece of land was recently named Ontario’s most well used course based on 2022 UDisc statistics!! We have been proud to watch the local community grow over the years.
While art may have always been a part of who I am, it has never been traditional mediums that kept me interested. Paint pouring, alcohol inks and sculpture have all been mediums that I have enjoyed in my adult life. Maybe there’s an element of science that fascinates me? The challenge of trying to control something that is not easily controlled? Whatever it is, I’m happy to be able to share the results with you all.
Thank-you to everyone who has bought a disc or encouraged me through the comment sections. We’re only just getting started, and I’m happy to have you all with me during this part of my journey.
